Shipping & Returns

Order and Shipping Confirmation

You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been successfully placed – it will include your order number and shipping method. Please make sure your shipping address is correct as we are unable to redirect goods once they are on route to you.

Orders can take up to 2 business days to be processed and shipped. Once your order is prepared for shipment you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking information. Please also note that in some cases, your order may arrive in multiple shipments (i.e., in the case of pre-order, backorder items or good shipped from different warehouses).

Where We Ship

We currently ship via DHL to the U.S., Canada and Mexico including Alaska, Hawaii and all U.S. Territories. We do not ship to PO Boxes/APO/FPO addresses. We also ship Internationally via DHL International Economy to all countries where our goods can be legally exported as per U.S. Trade Laws. Please note, not all items can ship to all countries.

Shipping Costs

All shipment costs are calculated at checkout and paid by the Customer. Shipping Costs for International Shipments do not include applicable import duties or local taxes required by local authorities and are the sole responsibility of the Customer. We operate warehouses in the U.S. and Mexico. Please note that until further notice all Chinese goods are shipped from our Monterrey, Mexico warehouse and the goods are subject to U.S. Chinese Tariff for all U.S. Customers.     

Duties & Taxes

U.S. Orders:
Applicable sales tax will be charged on merchandise total, where applicable. Taxes are calculated according to shipping destination and itemized on the Order Summary page. Wholesalers and Resellers who are not subject to sales tax should email their applicable Reseller Certificate to sales@fleetthings.com prior to placing order.  U.S. Customers should be aware that all Fleet Things product prices displayed on our website ship from our warehouse in Monterrey, Mexico and do not include U.S. 25% Tariff due on all imported Chinese electronic navigation goods. The tariff cost is collected by DHL upon import to the U.S. All Oigo Telematics and Teltonika goods ship from one of our U.S. warehouses and are duty-paid and not subject to U.S. any additional duties. Contact sales@fleetthings.com for more information.  

Mexico:

All shipments to Mexico are shipped and invoiced locally and delivered duty-paid. Net Prices displayed on website do not include Mexican VAT which is calculated at checkout.

International Orders:
We do not include or collect import duties or local taxes required by authorities outside the U.S. (except Mexico). These are the sole responsibility of the Customer. If applicable local duties and taxes should be paid to the DHL or your designated Customs Broker during delivery of the goods.

Return Policy

Returns on items eligible for returns are accepted within 30 days of receipt. Items must be returned unopened/unused, with labels/tags, in their original packaging. To return an item follow the directions below:

For returns:

  1.        Please email sales@fleetthings.com with your order number to initiate a return.
  2.        We charge a restocking fee of 20% of the order value for all returns.
  3.        We do not return shipping and / or processing fees associated with the original order.   
  4.        Upon receipt of your return, we will confirm your refund via email. Please note that taxes will be refunded along with the items you sent back, however; duties and any processing fees will not be refunded.
  5.        All shipping fees and related expenses to return goods are the responsibility of the Customer.

Late Returns

Any item returned after 30 days of shipment is not eligible for refund. Products should be returned to our warehouse before the expiration of this 30-day return period. Goods received after the 30-day period will be returned to the Customer at their expense. 

Items Not Eligible for Return

Please note that we do not accept returns of accessories, custom-made products, final sale goods, or products that are specified as non-returnable in its description, unless they are faulty. Any exceptions to this policy will be listed under product details on the product page.

Exchanges

We do not accept exchanges, as items may sell out while the requested exchange is returned and processed.

Receiving a Refund

A refund will be issued once we have received your returned items. Any items that are used or damaged when we receive them are not eligible for refund. Refunds do not include any shipping or handling charges, except in the case of faulty or damaged items. Your refund will be credited to the original form of payment used for the original transaction and will be in the amount of the Product price less the restocking fee. Any duties or taxes paid for orders shipped abroad will NOT be refunded. Please note that credit card refunds may take up to 15 business day for your bank to complete, depending on their processing times. This can vary greatly between credit card issuers. Customers who paid by Wire Transfer, ACH or any other means will receive a company check sent within 10 business days via regular US Mail or can opt to receive a store credit which can be used on a future purchase.
